Bitfenix Spectre Pro going crazy

I was able to replace the front 200mm inhale fans of my corsair graphite case with a bitfenix spectre pro.

I dont know why it's happening, but as soon as i reach the windows login screen, the fan just goes crazy and goes to max speed (or even more - cant tell) and gets very loud, even though i have set it's q-profile in the bios to silent.

It doesn't even spin this much when booting up. When booting, all the fans have a quick boost as usual but then it gets silent with all the other fans after 2 or 3 seconds. Then the windows login screen apears and it begins to accelerate to max.

Anyone got an idea what might be the causing this?

Corsair Link cant be the problem because it doesnt even show up in it. And its a 3 pin fan.

I had this problem too. It's a faulty fan. I bought 4 of them and 1 of them had this problem.

Definately faulty - Since i cant return it on a saturday i just tried on the low-noise-adapter for fun. Every few seconds, the fan starts to accelerate higher because it cant maintain a steady speed.

That thing is going to be replaced. End of story.

I found a good alternative to the specters for great fans, especially if you want led. The Cougar fans are amazing
