[SOLVED] Bitlocker in the control panel not seeing my usb drive

I used bitlocker on my usb drive a couple of months ago. Then I decided I didn't need it

The thing is, now I really do need it, but can't see the option to use my USB drive, only the C: and the Storage Space

I have enabled my Bitlocker service in my services console, but to no avail

This screenshot shows the only options I have for Bitlocker, no USB drive option

You aren't alone and apparently the fix is to delete the existing partition and create a new simple one then remove and reinsert the drive.
