Bitlocker Locked !

I have aDell Optiplex which has locked me out of Windows 10.
It won't accept Bitlocker code to unlock computer and then goes in a loop back to Unmountable Boot Volume.
I have tried to Unlock Bitlocker through C: prompt.

Why won't it accept bitlocker code? Getting any error? try the bitlocker recover key?

I have just bought a new Dell Optiplex 3050 and had it all ready with office all installed, when i decided to put the Bitlocker Encryption on. It went through the test then shut down. I then had to turn it on it asked for Bitlocker encryption code which was put in only for it to go in a loop and i am not able to get back into the computer whatsover. I am at a complete loss. I have tried through c: to unlock the drive but nothing is working. I have tried all the troubleshooting.
I am in despair as this is a brand new computer and Dell cannot offer me any help apart from new computer or money back...

i have tried everything it says it failed to unlock after entering bitlocker code, then went to a loop saying PC Ran into difficulty and needs to restarted: Unmountable Boot Volume, then starts up again asking for Bitlocker code.

Sound like the bitlocker install failed. if dell said to send you are new computer, take it or you will need to do system recovery to reinstall fresh

Ok. I have asked them to send me the recovery flash drive to do fresh. This is the 2nd computer from them to do this when setting up Bitlocker within a week. 🙁 IS there any point putting on Bitlocker on the fresh install from them ? scared it will happen again ?

unless you are really paranoid about security there is no reason to use it

This happened twice? If so, the likely issue is something you did/didn't do. Are you trying to encrypt the entire main storage device?

Ended up getting new hard drive from Dell and this time i managed to get it encrypted: i also did differently by not do the tick to do a Pre-check before encryption and it worked fine.
