Bitrate help for streaming on pc

my download is 231.62 mbps and upload is 9.62 mbps not sure if it is good internet speeds. what bitrate should i be using to stream pc games at 720p 60 fps on obs. I am using the gpu encoder to stream off

there are certainly online calculators for that . are you trying cloud gaming ?

well you usually "stream" youtube videos , and other stuff , not games . when you're playing an online game the only thing that matters is your latency . even if your internet is 2 mbps

I use the xbox app to stream and use obs to capture the game that is playing. and what calculator do you recommend to find your bitrate?

just google birate calculator , if that's a common phrase , but your upload speed looks like kinda slow if you want to simply upload your game recording to twitch or youtube . you'd probably have to wait for a while

well you can't stream with 10 mbps upload

on twitch the recommend bitrate range is 3-6 megabits per sec

~10mbps upload is more than enough for streaming, if you are planning on streaming on Twitch keep in mind as a non partnered streamer the maximum bitrate you can utilize is 3500. Obviously this limit eliminates 1080p/60fps streaming, 720/60fps works well for games without a lot of sudden motion (strategy games, mobas etc) but shooters for example will look bad. Dropping down to 30fps in this case will improve image clarity by sacraficing framerate.
