Hello all.
My specs:
Gaming Rig 1:
Ryzen 7 7800X3D
Gigabyte X670E Aorus Pro X
Trident Z5 32gb DDR5 6400
RX 7800 XT
Corsair 850 PSU
Curious, I have an internet plan of 1 gig up and 50 up. Yet while I am streaming via obs it fluctuates. 75% of the time is stays at what I have it set at which is 8000 bitrate. Yet approx 25% of the time maybe less it drops to 1000-2000 for a few second to a minute then back up to 8000. Why?
I was told not to set the bitrate higher than 8000 because people on tablets, cell phones etc may not be able to join because of their weak signal. Not sure if that is true or not.
I am hard wired and yes there are 3 other gaming rigs going at the same time with others using netflix etc. But 1 gig is more that enough for all of this and more I would assume.
when I run speedtest.net I avg 800-950 down and 50+ up.
any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
