Very much thinking a heat problem....

Are you able to leave the case open and watch the fans?

Unplug the system and verify that all fans spin freely. Especially the GPU fans.

Boot from room temperature (after the system has set for a while) and observe the fans.

Maybe one of the GPU fans warms up and binds. Slows down and even stops.

Once the system is hot and/or has black-screened, unplug and check the fans again.

All fans should spin freely.

Also, any signs of thermal paste oozing out somewhere? Unplug (as always) and use a flashlight to thoroughly examine everything - especially the xfx r9 380 card.

Overheating.

Make and model Graphic card? How old?

Desktop? What does it look like inside: clean, free of dust, debris, etc.. All air vents open without any blockages?

When the system is cool (has not been run for a while and at room temperature) boot up and check the fans.

Ensure that they all are running and that air is actually being moved.

xfx r9 380 double dissipation the graphic card is like 1 year old and is a little bit dusty inside normal temperature till the last few minutes before the black screen thats when the temperature start to rise a lot
