Black screen after a few minutes

Hi everyone,

I'm getting a black screen a few minutes after the desktop appears, however this doesn't seem to happen when I boot in safe mode.


How can I fix this? I've already tried restoring the system, but I get an error since the screen went black before the process began so I was forced to reboot.

I doubt it's a GPU problem, since last night everything was working ok. I also doubt it's a monitor problem, because if it was, then the screen would be always black, no exceptions.

Maybe I'm wrong though, so help is much appreciated.

Sounds like your computer using to much processor/ram

This is what you do
Go to command prompt > Msconfig > Start up
All that stuffs start when you log into your computer
You dont need nothing running from start up, Only Malware Byte {If installed}

Ones you kill all of those processes
You going to have to restart the computer
Next
Download CCleaner
What this does remove the trash you don't need
History, Cookies, Temp, Etc
It will recover some of your hard drive space {Giga's}

Next
Download
disk defragmenter
You have in built into windows but it sucks and take longer

If this doesn't work write back

You can but make sure you have it download before going into safe mode
You will not be able to access the internet
