I was installing a game called the crew and when i launched it it told me to update my amd drivers for the best performance. So i went on amds website downloaded the correct drivers for my laptop amd after installation the screen is black. I can only see the screen of the laptop after i connect it to my tv through hdmi. How can i fix this? Need Urgent Help!

1) Start -> Device Manager
2) Find your GPU under 'Display Adaptors'
3) Right click on GPU, select Properties
4) Click on 'Driver Tab'
5) Select 'Roll Back Driver'

This will revert to the previously installed driver. I would also download AMD Radeon Settings and allow that to control Driver updates.

Do so in Safe Mode if you cannot do it on your TV

What is the windows version you use? If windows 7 can try and see F8 will get you somewhere.,

use the boot into safe mode with network options and download DDU,use it to remove the amd drivers. Only download drivers from the laptopmaker,look at their site for your laptop and download the latest available drivers there.

Ah probably didn't read right,if you can use the latop via the tv just use DDU and remove the AMD display drivers.Can of course try the above first.

I will try using ddu. Also i cant download the drivers from the manufactures website because asus was stupid enough to put out two version of the laptop. One with amd graphics and the other with intel. And only released intel drivers

EDIT: DDU Did not help :(
