I bought a new GPU, PSU and case today, got them installed along my older mobo, CPU and RAM.

Intel Core i5 4430
Asus Strix GTX 970
8,00 GB RAM
Gigabyte H81M-DS2V mobo
Cooler Master G700 Bronze PSU
HP Pavilion 27xi

I've played Battlefield 4 and SW:Battlefront today. I could play BF4 for like 15 seconds before my monitor turned black, was alive but apparently "asleep" and wouldn't connect back anymore until I force-restarted my PC. Same happened with Battlefront, but it lasted a while longer.

What can I do to fix this? Is this an issue with my PSU, GPU, monitor...? Everything should check as I've been told everything will be fine (no compatibility issues).

Okay. That's a good start at least! Haha. When I had a similar issue to this, it ended up being my motherboard, but your new components are the GPU/PSU. Can you put the old GPU back into the computer with the new PSU? This way you can see what is the problem by the process of elimination.

I did and it works, but the other card I have is a GT 630... It doesn't draw power from the PSU but from the motherboard
