Hey there,
I have been going through a problem recently where every now and then, I'd get a black screen for 2 seconds. This doesn't stop any sound, game or task, it's as if someone unplugged the cable and plugged it back in. There isn't any windows alert sound when this happens so it's probably not a faulty cable. I also monitored my GPU temps and they same to be very normal, peaking at 72 whilst playing Battlefield 1.
This issue is a very frustrating one because I don't know how to troubleshoot it and when playing competitive game, it significantly affects your gameplay because you never know when it's going to happen. This only started happening recently.
Here are my Specs:
EVGA GTX 960 4GB SSC - Overclocked to 1484MHz
i7 4790k - Overclocked to 4.5GHz
MSI Z97S SLI KRAIT EDITION
2x4 GB Fury Ram
EVGA 500w White PSU
