Question Black screen on game startup - - - dead GPU ?

TLDR: PSU died , replaced PSU , start game, game shows error and black screens , have to shut down PC , try another game after restart , PC black screens again, have to force shut down. After every black screen my monitor shows that there is no signal, forcing me to reboot PC.

I’ve tried:

• driver updates
• driver wipes
• system reset
• checking power connection
• disabling and enabling in device manager
• using DDU
• praying

before my old PSU failed the system worked great , the only thing I changed was PSU and I’m running into these issues.
I don’t have a spare PC to test it with and my motherboard only has one PCIe slot. Any pointers would be appreciated. I’m about to order a new GPU.

16gb ram
RX580 8gb
SSD/HDD
600 watt EVGA 80+ bronze ( replaced old 500 watt evga 80+ bronze)

Did you use the new wiring that came with the new Psu? Have you tried using a different graphics port, like Hdmi, or display port?

It’s a non modular PSU so yes , I’ve also tried both PCIe power cables. My RX580 has one HDMI and three Dp my monitor unfortunately only has VGA and HDMI. I’ve tested my IGPU on my 6500 and haven’t had any issues besides low FPS in games (which is destined to happen)

TLDR: tried all cables , integrated graphics work

The only problem is you don't know if it is your gpu or the pcie slot.
