Question Black Screen on New RAMs

I want to upgrade my 2GB RAM, so I brought 2x4GB Kingston Memory Modules
after installing them I got black screen, but everything works fine inside case
I have cleaned pins with eraser but no effect, when I return old 2GB ram it works fine
also I updated my CPU it works fine...you can see Motherboard Memory Support Specifications here - https://ibb.co/jZSkmYM

Motherboard: Asus P5G41T-M-LX2/GB
Old RAM: Rendition RM25664BA1339.8FR (2GB DDR3 PC3-10600U 1333MHz DIMM 240-Pin)
New RAMs: 2x4GB Kingston KVR13N9S8H/4 (1x4GB DDR3 PC3-10600 133MHz CL9 240-Pin DIMM)

I'm afraid that this is a sign of a faulty RAM

Assuming you bought those Memory Modules brand new not second hand ones

• Try plugging only one stick of them to see which one is causing the problem.
• Make sure you plugged them in the right order (slot #1 and slot #2)

If that didn't help then if you bought them new i'm sure you could have an exchange.

I will bring it back but I need to know what type of memories I need...becouse that new ones are fully compatible for mobo

Crucial shows CT2K51264BD160B 2X4=8GB kit https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/p5g41t-m-lx/CT7337363 you can find that part number other places like Amazon. Kingston only shows KVR1066D3N7K2/8G 2X4GB kit compatible with your board and it is discontinued. May be able to find it used on Ebay or Amazon. Your KVR13N9S8H/4 is NOT COMPATABLE with your board. It requires 2Rank memory , double sided chips on the modules. They don't hardly make them any more!

Yes, 2Rank, but it is best to go to a vendor site and find compatible memory and even if they don't make it any more find some used with their part number.

G41 Chipset motherboards use low density memory. Most memory manufacturers have discontinued making that kind of memory years ago. When you buy high density memory made today it does not work.
