Hi!
I have Samsung Smart TV 65"
everytime i connect it to my laptop using HDMI port (lenovo G40 Series or HP Laptop) it will detect the laptop but the display is Black Screen. Anyone face this problem also? your help will be highly appreciated.

i already did the troubleshooting steps:
1: unplugged tv for 10 mins.
2: plugging it again
3: connect Hdmi port 1 device at a time
4: turn on laptop

problem is still the same.

"switching project mode to duplicate and extended."

problem still the same.

Hi,

Was your TV source set to HDMI 1 o 2 depending where it's connected to? Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- Go try to uninstall/reinstall the graphics card driver.
- Open Device Manager and uninstall the graphics card driver.
- Do the same in Programs and Features, uninstall anything related to the graphics card.
- Next is to download and install the latest graphics card driver from the manufacturers site.
- Once the latest driver has been install reboot your laptop.
- After the reboot do test it again, press the Windows key + P at the same time and select either Duplicate or Extended display and press Enter.

Thank you for your response sir, i already installed the latest display driver even the new purchased laptop running with win10 also facing the same problem.. it will function 2 mins then later on it will go to black screen.
