ive had my mining rig of 5 RX580 red devils, 1950watt PSU for about a year, until one day they stopped working. I have 8gb ram i have a i3-4160 CPU and 5 red Devil Rx580. I have changed Virtual memory to different things such as 8000 initial and 16000 max, ive done 16000, and 16000, ive done 8000 and 32000, as well as 16000/32000max and 16000/16000 virtual memory but nothing seems to work. my mining rigs runs for like 4 shares then goes to black screen. ive been dealing with this for about 3 months on my off-time and cant figure out why it wont start up properly. it seems to run with 2 gpus fine for a while then i think i plugged in the 3rd and it wouldn't work, so i tried a different slot and it still didnt work so now im going to unplug it and see if only 2/5 gpus will run in the meantime while i wait for a answer to my issue--any help is much appreciated--much thanks

ive been trying to get my mining rig made of 5 rx580 red devils to work again since they randomly stopped working back in January. I've uninstalled each individual driver and reinstalled it one by one, ive tried drivers 17.1.4 and 18.3.4 as well as the newest at the time 19.1.2 and now the newest i think is 19.1.4 that all gpus have as their driver.
I have pixel clock patched all of them individually and as a group and when i run claymore; the system runs and shows them doing about 28mh which i can tweak to 31 as ive done it before. But after a few shares about 3-4 it goes to blue screen and says atikmpag.sys failure.
Ive manually went to device manager and tried to update, and ive tried uninstalling them thru device manager as well in safe mode.
ive DDU all of them before reinstalling the new drivers; running each GPU by itself it runs fine; but when there is more then 1 card running the system shuts down saying atikmpag.sys failure.
Ive set my virtual memory min/max to 8000/16000, 8000/43000, 16000/16000,16000/43000, 16342/16342, 16000/32000,16000/43000,

none seem to work

ive tried to move atikmpag.sys to become atimpag.sys.old and move it to the ati/amd file but i am unable to find that, if i put it in ATI or AMD the file just sists there.
ive tried another potential solution. Many advised to locate a atikmpag.sy_ file located in C:/AMD/Packages... and to run a console window there with the command
expand.exe -r atikmpag.sy_ atikmpag.sys
my computer could not find it to expand.
i have also reinstalled windows with a clean OS and still cant figure it out. $1300 mining rig collecting dust HELP PLEASE

$1300 mining rig collecting dust

Can you provide the exact full SPECS of this mining RIG ? Which Motherboard and PSU are you having ? Maybe 1 of the card is faulty ? Try testing each card individually as well, to see if the problem lies with a particular GPU or not.

You might want to list your specs like so:
CPU: i3-4160 Haswell Dual core 3.6Ghz LGA 1150 54w
Motherboard: AsRock H81 Pro BTC 2.0
Ram: G.Skill ripjaw x series 8GB RAM
SSD/HDD: wd3200bevt
GPU: 5 RX 580 red devils
PSU: 1200w corsair platinum/ 750w corsiar gold connected
Chassis: Shoe rack
OS: Windows 10 re-installed fresh

PSU's are only a year old-- i do however have 2 antminers running in the same 2 bedroom apartment pulling about 2200w, my computer im using running 2 1080TIs, but judging by my electrical box plugging my rx580 rig into the washing machine outlet should allow more then enough power to run the rig fine. I assume a windows update messed up the computer but a fresh install should have fixed any issues id imagine. I even tried uninstalling the new updates and running the rig and it still failed

How old is the PSU? This is also in the wrong section! Moving this thread to Systems.

i ran each card individually and they all work fine by themselves, i even had 2 running at the same time for a day then it randomly shut down but never more then 2 for longer then 4 shares
