[SOLVED] Black screen with cursor after factory reset

I did a factory reset on my windows 10 pc and after doing everything it went to a black screen with my cursor showing up. I tried opening the task manager but it only showed the loading wheel next to the mouse and nothing else. Ctrl Alt Delete did nothing too. Tried restarting it, same thing. Any help would be appreciated

might just as well do a fresh os install with the latest installation media from MS website

Sometimes reset is too thorough and removes windows completely or breaks it so it won't load

as above suggested,

On another PC, download the Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make a win 10 installer on USB

Its a cause of bad sectors on your HDD.
Make a bootable USB drive from another computer and while you're at the windows setup, press the shift + F10 keys.

Run these commands:
SFC /scannow

chkdsk D: /f

chkdsk D: /r

They will take some time, but it's worth your time.
