[SOLVED] Black Screen with HD 7950

Hi there, i got an HD 7950 OC edition from a friend, and i decided to put it into test. Everything turns on, even gpu fans are spinning, boot sound too, keyboard lights up, etc, and the No Signal from the screen goes away to just showing me a black screen. I tested the hdmi port and the display port, both the same. Tried reseating rams too and same thing. Is the gpu dead or any other solutions i can try? I also tried to use the onboard hdmi on my pc but still shows black screen.

Did your friend test the GPU?
Use the integrated GPU by removing the 7950 and connecting your monitor to the motherboard.

Does your CPU has integrated GPU?

Your gtx 560ti doesn't have the issue? If it doesn't then your 7950 is dead.

I read somewhere though that i had to clean my pc from any other drivers then installing the drivers for the 7950 and use it. I still haven't done that yet. And i was using the 560ti for quite some time now so i don't know if should take it as the gpu is dead or something else.

Try removing gpu drivers with DDU:

Yep i use DDU all the time, thank you. I will try to get a dvi-d cable today and check again.
