So I'm trying to fix up an old computer of mine which had the following Specs:
i5 2400
8GB 1866 ddr3
asus strix oc gtx 960
1tb hdd
500w psu
I had to replace a dead mobo so i got an Asus - P8H61-M LE/CSM (REV 3.0) from ebay. I tried my first boot and got a screen that has a black screen with a logo of NCST.com. No screen shows up that says press del to enter bios or anything like that. Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?
Update: ram speeds might not be compatible? Read the following: "MEMORY TYPE
DDR3-1066 / 1333" on pcpartpicker. Mine is 1866, could that be the problem? and if so do i need to buy new ram?I might be asleep if someone replies, as it is near 1am. I'll continue on this tomorrow i am exhausted.Thanks.
