[SOLVED] Black screen with new GPU ?

It says Asus nvidia on box

On the back of the card there should be a serial number on small sticker on the box there should be one as well.

Anyway not much you can do till you can get new psu installed. Another thing you can do on the old psu is on the PSU side is use a different 8 pin connector to the PSU you should have at least 2 marked pci e or GPU.

As I stated before it could be that the current cable is tied to the same rail as CPU. I've owned a ocz that refused to start a gpu because of that.

I had that PSU running a lot of pcs I'd built back in the day, no problems
