Question Black screen with NVIDIA 3070Ti FE

NVIDIA RTX 3070Ti Black screen issue

I built a gaming PC in late June and after 3 weeks of just normal use like browsing or working, I started getting black screens. I reseated the GPU, updated the BIOS, and still experienced the same issue. I decided to use DDU and NVIDIA's cleanup tool to wipe out any GPU drivers and install them directly from NVIDIA's website without the internet and still, the same issues occur.

After doing some research, I decided to switch PCIe cables but still after some time the black screen issue occurs. Last night, I decided to do a fresh install of windows 11 and now I am not able to boot with the GPU, only the iGPU. I have run out of options here. I am not sure if the card is faulty, or the PCIe slot is faulty.

I am limited in terms of testing with other PC because I think I am the only one in my area at the moment that has a gaming PC. I am considering another idea where the PCIe cables that came with the PSU are plugtails instead of a non plugtail cable. Not sure. Please assist. I am lost.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

I would advise on picking up a higher wattage PSU and seeing of the issue persists. As for connecting to your GPU, you're advised to connect each input on the GPU with a standalone connector from the PSU, not daisy chained.
