So I just put in a new gpu ASUS GTX 1060 3G. First time I booted it up it was working fine and I was about to install the drivers but then the screen went black. I couldn’t see or do anything so I restarted my computer and after my windows icon loaded it did the same thing.
I have a weird pc. I bought my friends motherboard but it has a fatal error system halted on it. There had been no fix to it but to start it up i just need to turn off and on the power supply. He had to do the same.
I’ve tried lots of things but what I think the problem is that it can’t fast boot up. I can’t change the bios settings because it would need to restart and I can’t restart because of the error. So I flip the power switch and it goes right back to the old settings. Is there anyway of fixing any of this? Please help.
