Alright let's get it straight, I own the newest consoles and a expensive gaming PC. First things first, most people own a console over a gaming PC for many reasons, the biggest is that they grew up on consoles (NES, Super Nintendo, Sega) so naturally they will keep buying consoles. The second reason is this, they don't have much technical knowledge, the every day person uses PC's for these 3 reasons, Porn, Email, Social Networking. They don't know that intel motherboards won't work with CPU's made by AMD, or the difference between SSD and Mechanical HD's. They also don't know how to build a gaming computer, they'll just order one from dell or alienware and it will cost them 5000+ when they could just build one for 1700. So to the everyday person, gaming pc's are an investment. That's why people buy consoles, not because they're "stupid" or "immature teens." So get that stereotype out of you heads. The second reason is (I'm guilty) we want to play with the people we know in real life. Most of the time people are uncomfortable in a room full of strangers.
Now since you all are complaining how bad a port to consoles is gonna be, I know how we can fix it, if you hate console gammers and ports so much DON'T BUY IT, simple as that. No one is making you buy it, it won't "ruin" the pc version, it won't effect your life in anyway, just let it go.
