Blizzard Patches 'Warcraft III,' Offers Modern System Compatibility

I hope they patch the original Diablo as well, but I am not holding my breath. It runs on Windows 10 with the latest patch but does randomly crash. It would also be nice to not have to use the CD to play without resorting to an unofficial hack.

Anyone know if there is native widescreen support now or do i still need edit the registry?

I read that Blizzard said they would never support that aspect ratio.

What I would love to see is the original Starcraft redone using a more modern engine.

Actually, some games have Ultra Widescreen support and some don't. But to address the stretching issue all you have to do is change the aspect ratio from the settings.
