[citation][nom]hasten[/nom]Well when 95% of their user base is little kids. Seems like a reasonable business decision to make, cater to your primary demographic. So in reality they know exactly what the customer wants, just not the handful of adults that still play that game.[/citation]

i am gonna go with this as well, I believe Blizzard actually decided that trying to cater to the hard core and gamers was not as profitable compared to the lower common denominator which was the noobs. Hence the whole simplification of the classes, the difficulty, the dailies etc. They correctly identified that the vast majority of their playerbase were simply noobsters. BUT their money was just as good as any gamer AND they were easier to please.

[citation][nom]john_4[/nom]Blizzard, aka Activision is so yeterday. Activision ruined Blizzard just like EA ruined Bioware.[/citation]
I would like to add DICE and Westwood to that as well.....

as for Titan, IMO it's taken too long and most of the people are fed up with blizzard for different things over the years. If they released titan tomorrow, it still wouldn't do them much good given their recent history. (WoW patches/expations, StarCraft II, and Diablo 3 are a few that come to mind)

You can't deny that they don't have the fan base/following they used to years ago. And because of that they had to let some people go a while back, it was even posted here on toms that the layoffs were because of WoW bleeding subs.

Too many internet-bad asses on here. They're all so smart about everything, and what to do, and what not to do. Fags, let the game companies make the games, so that you can just stick to sitting in your basement, complaining about everything all day long.

If the business decision is soo successful why would they lose their subscribers. U want a sustainable business, not a short term ones.

[citation][nom]beayn[/nom]I love people like you who claim you cleared inferno without any problems and without buying any gear. Generally if we look at your profile, we'll find you never completed Act 1 inferno. [/citation]
What kind of argument is that. You are flat-out saying I lied, and what profile did you look at? Yes I did clear Inferno pre-1.03 with WD without mass-cheesing aspd. I sold what I found and spent what gold I found, at worst I only spent one weekend farming A2 after taking out Maghda. Inferno clearing with modest gear was doable thanks to helpful guides like Hesterry's.

There's nothing wrong with having GAH as an alternative way to upgrade. I could get value for pieces that didn't fit my class and outfit my WD, the whole experience was pretty seamless. the main issue was people were into conspiracy theories that blizzard drove people to RMAH using Inferno difficulty.

They're either trolling, bragging or have some other inadequacies they're making up for. You spent your gold to buy better items on the GAH? So it was GEAR and not JUST SKILL that got you through. And that's what I was talking about. The Gold AH was required to progress. The RMAH was really not required. Usually there were better items on the gold AH anyway. RMAH was for people who always buy stuff from farmers anyway.

The problem was that ANY AH was required to progress. The point of the game is to get loot. Not buy other people's loot. When my wife and I got to Act 2 we couldn't afford the 10+ million gold for a single upgrade when I only had 10 mil on me at any given time.

If you were one of the people who leveled quickly and were able to sell pretty much everything you found on the GAH, then you could easily buy items to progress. If you missed that boat and leveled slower, there was a point where only really good items were selling. You couldn't make the gold required to begin Act 3. Most I ever sold something for? 2 million. Once. Really good weapon upgrade that would take me from 20k dps to 30k dps? 50+ million. Items that dropped worth over 1 million? 1-2 times a week. How is skill involved in that?

I had more of a rant explaining it in more detail but deleted it, was getting too long. Basically it seems you don't understand the problems players were having trying to progress in Inferno and simply blamed it on skill.

[citation][nom]chumly[/nom]I don't care as long as I can sell items for real money. I'm up to over $20k on Diablo 3 now.[/citation]

Tax man gonna love you, Make sure to pay up! 😉
Never screw with the tax man!
