f*ck blizzard and their cash cow milking a55es.

Blizzard has turned from one of the best computer game developers into another ea or sony online. Now their vision is only to mold their business around making more money and anything that jeopardizes that gets the axe. Its really sad that when Diablo II came out I was only 20 and Ill be at least 31(probably 32) by the time Diablo III comes out. I dont want to hear the "quality" excuse for their dev cycles because anyone that takes 11 or 12 years to make a game installment dosnt know what the f*ck they are doing.

"But even though Blizzard didn't chisel a definitive release date into stone"

HA!! They've never chiseled a release date into stone. More like wrote it on paper with eraser in hand. Seriously they are the kings of delays.

D2 was delayed for 3 years. Everyone was claiming they'd boycott it because of all of the delays. But everyone seemed to forget about the came taking forever to release when they finally played it.

Take your time Blizzard, I still play D2 from time to time. Get the game right and release it when its ready.

Last year, not to long after D3 was announced my cousin (works in game-type-shop) said ya, if your lucky, end of 2010, more than likely 2011...I'm sad to say I should have taken him more seriously...

[citation][nom]tsk_cable[/nom]I watched the whole trailer and I can say without doubtsplaying with the monk will be boring, its just plain hitting and you always deal dmg to a single target that teleport stuff is weak as hell and fugly!!!Blizzard mix this character deserves charged atacks like the assassin in diablo 2.People play with Hammerdins / Javazons / Sorceress because these characters can kill multiply enemies. The monk Class just born dead, blizz I think all the fans will miss D3 and SC2[/citation]

Umm... What are you talking about?

I went to Blizzcon, it was fantastic. I played the monk in the diablo 3 area, almost all of his attacks hit multiple targets. I'm going to say without a doubt that you are a troll, or simply a misinformed person who is too lazy to do research before posting.

1. Monk's attacks hit multiple targets, including an AOE daze attack that was freaking awesome.

2. The monk DOES use a charge up style, you just don't have the clunky system the assasian used in D2. Most of the monk attacks automatically combine the charge up, finish mechanic. First hit does XX, second hit does YY, Third hit does something different.

3. Diablo 3 is smooth as hell, much easier to customize keybindings and manage your inventory. VERY fun, will be worth the wait. I'd rather blizzard take their time and deliver quality games.

Overall, people need to realize that Blizzard doesn't release bad games. Cry all you want, but these games are well worth the wait. Star 2, diablo 3, and even wow cataclysm were all very VERY fun to play at blizcon.

I personally am fine with delays. Rushing games out to meet deadlines is what kills games in todays day and age. Long past are the days where it's acceptable to release a broken game, and have the community pay to play it while you fix it. WAR and AoC both flopped due to the fact that they rushed out unfinished games to a public who expects perfection on the first go.

Also, I would put money on the fact that 99% of the people saying, "OMG I'm pissed at the game, I won't play," will in fact, purchase and play the game.

Like Deuce271 said, people will talk big about boycotting something, but when it comes down to it, they will buy it and enjoy it once its out. Stop being some damn impatient. You live up to the typical american (I'm american too b4 you say eurofag or some other term)sterotype in the sense that you demand instant gratification. You would rather eat a big mac and get fat instead of cooking your own food and exercising.

[citation][nom]invlem[/nom]At least I know I can buy a Blizzard made game and not be disappointed by it. They release their stuff when its good and ready, as other publishers should as well.[/citation]

Too bad it doesn't necessarily apply to everyone. I was fairly disappointed with WC3, and even more with WoW.

You being disappointed with WC3 and WoW has nothing to do with when the games were released though. Apples to oranges. That's like saying "Your hair looks back because it was cut on Tuesday." I would even venture to say that those that are disappointed with games would be even more so had the release dates been rushed. If you dislike WoW at release, could you imagine playing WoW closed alpha testing where half the stuff wasn't finished.

No good compnay should have their cusotmers pay for an unfinished product, then expect the customers to sit tight while they finish it up. Look at Microsoft & Vista or the Xbox 360's when they first released. Major recalls and/or tons of patching to usability =/= fun times.

D3 and a fully completed SC2 is as likely as Starcraft: Ghost. Blizzard has been so successful with their WoW franchise that the bulk of their resources are going to more expansions.

Again, another person who has no idea what they are talking about.

I played starcraft 2 for about 3 hours total at blizzcon, it is 100% polished, balanced, smooth, and amazing. The game is finished. I'll say that again.

THE GAME IS ALREADY DONE, WORKS FINE, IS PLAYABLE. Stop trying to say "uhhh durrrr lols its like starcraft: ghost." You look like a freaking idiot posting this dribble.

Starcraft 2 is being held up to ensure battle.net gets the complete makeover it deserves, the game itself is a done deal. The skirmish mode was is fun, all 3 races are complete and feel fantastic.

The single player campaign knocked my socks off, the amount of detail that went into each mission was great. I can't believe they are putting in 30 such missions.

People, stop posting this terrible information that SC2 isn't going to be finished. It is already finished, and I'll be playing the hell out of the beta once Bnet gets its update.

(No, I could care less about no lan. And I don't care about you cry babies who do.) I'd much prefer to play from my house than sit in a room with 300 smelly unwashed gamers chugging their mountain dew.

I honestly don't care about the lack of lan, but I don't really understand the reasoning behind not having it. If so many people enjoy it, why not throw it in?

Your right, it doesn't have anything to do with a lack of polishness in those games, they didn't rush it. Just unsatisfied with multiple other kinds of direction they took with the style and gameplay of those. Nothing to do with a lack of quality.
