What are the main feature and function differences between Blu-ray Combo DVD Writer and the Old DVD writer? Today the price of old DVD writer is very cheap.

Can DVD Disc of Blu-ray and old DVD disc be burned on Blu-ray Combo DVD Writer ?

In shopping a Blu-ray Combo DVD Writer what main features need to pay more attention?

"Ordinary" DVD can't use Blue ray disks, read or write.
Combo can do both.

I'm prepared to replace my old DVD writer with a Blu-ray Combo Writer but still having some brand new DVD and CD rewrite disc left behind. So I asked this question.

I expect finding out the main feature of Blu-ray Combo compared to old DVD writer. Where can I find the link. Thanks
