Blue Horizontal lines on Left side of monitor?

Today, blue lines appeared on the left side of my monitor. I checked out other similar threads but mine blue lines appear all the time, not just when gaming. Question is why now out of now where? Does this mean it's for sure my monitor? I also switched cables and tried my monitor on my other PC and the blue lines where still there. So i have to buy a new one or is there anything else it could be??

Well for one thing if the blue lines aren't going then your monitor my friend has been damaged, you either need to repair it's photo plate or better yet buy a new one. There are nice Asus G-Sync monitors now which are both best for gaming and video playbacks.
