Blue light filter hardware based?

Are the Benq eye care line hardware based blue light filtered or just like lg and samsung monitors "reader" mode?

According to their product site, they're blue light filtered. In this day and age, all displays should/will come with the filter.

Yes but are Lg and Samsung using hardware filtering too or it's just a rgb software algorithm?
