Blue screen help 4 vista

Lately I have been getting alot of blue screens ( 1-2 a day like every other day thsi week). I havn't downloaded anything new on to my PC. My friend said it might be because my videocard is over heating but i dont think that would be the reason. Can anyone give me some ideas on why it'd be blue screening so often.

Windows vista 32-bit - or ways to stop it from blue screening.

What is the bluescreen stop message/code?

Try using system restore. If error still present, can be overheating. Is it note book?
