it says the cause is by tcpip.sys... i have no idea what that means, and i dont know how to fix it... im too broke to buy a new pc... please, is there any fix? :/

First check if any of your drivers are corrupt and if all of them are latest versions.
If they are, open up your case and make sure your ram's are properly seated.
If they are, run memtest and post the results.

Just check the Network drivers first, TCP/IP is your network com. protocol

Exactly. Just make sure your tcpip.sys file version is 6.1.7601.17697.

where do you find that file?

oh and btw, my PC's ramtest thingy, came clean, no errors... so its certainly a networking issue... just need to know where to find that particular file, and how to update it.

Navigate to c:\windows\system32\drivers. Right-click the TCPIP.SYS file and look at the details tab. The image below shows one from the Windows 8 DevPreview. The version you want to see is 6.1.7601.17697.

Mines 6.2.9200.16384... is that an issue?

tcpip.sys is likely to be showing because some program is attempting to connect to the internet. Because it's corrupted it's attempting to send bad signals (either to tcpip.sys or through it), which confuses tcpip.sys. This confusion is what causes tcpip.sys to crash. Do you have any aftermarket ativiruses like ca internet security? Or if you dont know what program is causing this, do this: Navigate to: C:\Windows\Minidump folder. If you see any .dmp files, zip all of them, and attach that file to the next reply.

its not letting me zip them, it comes up as an error... and says something about break operation

So did you install any third party antivirus/ cleanup programs???

none that i havent used before... i did a system restore to the first of june... i think that may have fixed the issue... kinda weary though

Ok if the issue repeats itself just inform us
