A few month ago I put windows 8.1 boot camp on the newer macbook (the one with only the usb-c plug). I have tried alot and nothing has worked that I usually do for my computer all I need are the documents and folders on the desktop. The computer has alot of important boy scout information for an entire district. I have a restore point but thats several days ago and will be missing things I can't replace.
A few days ago it blue screened with this message
This is what I tried to do it is out of order:
First I tried to startup in safe mode straight to blue screen.
I tried the startup repair, it does nothing that I can see.
I tried to refresh my pc, it said there was a problem refreshing my pc. No changes were made.
Trying to refresh from the Windows 8 install usb. Its says the drive where windows is locked. Unlock the drive and try again.- I dont know how to unlock it.
I went to the cmd promt and tried chkdsk when i did chkdsk c: /r /x it took a while with bad clusters but at the end it said there wasn't enough room. Which is weird becasue I made the windows partion have 400gb and no way i have used all of it.
Also tried sfc /scannow says it has repaired stuff and it will be fix on next reboot but it goes right back to blue screen.
I have a windows 8 install usb but when i choose the use a device option it doesn't show my usb.
I think that is everything I have tried doing that I know that might help but still nothing.
