Hello guys, so look at this deal I scored off craigslist. It's a digital storm built computer. My specs are as follows:
AMD FX 4100
8gb Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz RAM
Nvidia GTX 650 (PNY)
500gb Hard drive
Corsair Vengeance c70 case
I also recieved an Asus 24" 1080P LED monitor and a $130 corsair keyboard as well as a $55 corsair mouse and a set of 2.1 logitech speakers. The computer is running Windows 7
I got it for $220 because the previous owner was having blue screen of death issues. I am, too now of course. The computer will boot up and I can do stuff but it will blue screen randomly every now and then.I was getting an IRQL not equal or less code but drivers for my mouse and keyboard seemed to of fixed that. I am still getting this STOP code:
Check to make sure you have adequete disk space. If a driver is identified in the stop message, disable the driver or check with the manufacture for updates. Try changing video adapters.
Check with your hardware vendor for any BIOS updates. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shawdowing. If you need to use safe mode...blah blah blah...

I forgot to say my motherboard is an Asus M5A9 R2.0
The previous owner also replaced the RAM and graphics card (changed it from a Radeon 7750 to the GTX 650). He also reformated the hard drive.
I have my graphics driver installed properly. The only thing I can think of that is making it do this is the following:
A- He had some AVG 2014 antivirus crap on here and I tried to uninstall it but it failed. I lost a DLL file or something, so it gives me an error message on startup or when I try to start AVG. When I try and uninstall it through control panel it stops working and the AVG uninstaller crashes.
B-My motherboard BIOS needs to be updated. I couldnt find the download for this, so if anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.
