I have recently purchased a Blue Yeti microphone (http://www.bluemic.com/yeti/). Everything has been going fine with it, it is recognized in the usb port, and the volume is great, so is the quality. But this morning my house had a power surge and everything shut down, including my computer(duh). When i turn it on my mic isn't recognized anymore, and instead i get an error code 43 in the device manager program. It says the device is malfunctioned. But when i plug it into my usb hub, it works fine, it also works on my laptop just fine. I've reinstalled my usb drivers, and other devices work too (webcam, flash drive). Is there anyway i can "reset" all the usb ports? The only thing the mic shows up as is an unknown device, and i've uninstalled it's drivers and scanned for hardware changes too.

Yes, my flash drive, pen tablet, web cam, and when i plug my phone in via usb it recognizes it. Everything works BUT the mic. And it's not in just the front ports, it is in the back ports too. But, it DOES work when i plug it into a four port hub. I've reinstalled the usb drivers and updated the bios, but nothing.

I'm having exactly the same issue - power outage has killed my Blue Yeti on this one PC, however every other device works fine. The Blue Yeti also works on a different PC.

Any update on how to resolve this issue?

For me at least the issue was with the USB to Micro USB cable... weirdly it worked in other computers but in my one the cable didn't properly work with any other USB device (tried a webcam, same issue).

So for the sake of £1 it might be worth trying a different cable, if possible.
