Blue Yeti & Sound Blaster sound card

Hello

I have a Blue Yeti microphone (USB) & a Sound Blaster Z sound card. Is there a way I can use the both together? i.e can I use my headphones through the sound card and still use the blue yeti? although the microphone isn't plugged into the sound card?

Reason I ask is because I prefer the audio through my sound card compared to the Blue Yeti, but obviously the Blue Yeti as a Microphone is miles better than the microphone on my headset :/

Well yeah, just plug your Headphones into the sound card. Thats all there is to it

yes. just go into the windows audio panel and set your sound card as the default output for audio and set the usb mic as the default recording device.

yeah but it doesn't pick up the blue yeti though

Tried this but won't pick up the blue yeti

I got it working! new problem tho there's a pretty distinctive delay when I talk into the mic which is very off putting... any way around this?

I have the SoundRecond3D1 and the Blue Yeti both as playback options, I use a Audio Technica M40x, Cant tell a difference between putting the jack into the motherboard port and the microphone port, can someone tell me which one will yield better quality?
