Anyone ever use a Blueendless Multi-Functional 3.5inch Hard Disk Enclosure USB3.0 enclosure for home networking? I have a dual disk Synology and two brand new 1TB disks but I have put off installing it as it seems a bit much for just a home network. This Blueendless looks to be more to my liking but it seems to be new to the market since I can't find any reviews. Thanks.

Looking at their web presence, company information and the entire lack of feedback about this Shenzen based company whom I've never heard of in the last 39 years, despite them supposedly being in the industry since 2002, there is zero way I'd trust any of their products. There are literally ZERO reputable reviews of ANY product they sell on any even halfway known tech site and the only ones on YT I see are based in China, which means they are likely done by the company itself. There are far too many other comfortable options available to trust an unknown quantity like this. For me at least.

So, they are not "new to the market". They've been around, according to their website, for about 23 years. In 23 years, one of us should have heard about them, seen their products, read reviews of something they sell or at least HAVE reviews of something they sell online.

This is more like an untrustworthy AliExpress or Banggood brand than anything else IMO. If you have no other options, maybe it's worth trying. There are plenty of Chinese companies that make good hardware. It's just that most all of them are known in some way or another.

That's the kind of answers that are helpful. Thanks much. As to the product of that type (sold anywhere) does anyone know if they work as a nas or is it all a big hype? Don't mind paying a bit more, just trying to keep it simple for a simple guy.

Do you need a travel router. Is there some feature you need on that router that makes you want it over others.

Pretty much any router can be used as a AP.

There are much cheaper routers....especially if you look for ac1200.

Wifi6 buys you very little very few end devices support the 160mhz radio channels that make wifi6 faster...at least on paper. Most people found little benefit between a wifi5 and wifi6 router.

Wifi6e does perform better because of the support of the 6ghz radio band. Your end devices must also support 6ghz. wifi6e is quite a bit more expensive than wifi5 or wiifi6. If you actually consider buying one be careful some so called wifi6e routers do not contain the 6ghz radio chip. This makes them wifi6e in name only they are really wifi6 routers since the 6ghz radio is the key thing that makes "e" better,

If you just need some basic AP I would buy a $40 tplink ac1200 router. You likely can get a bunch of name brand used routers for less since a lot of people upgraded
