Hello, I am an owner of an Acer Aspire A717-72g. I frequently use my Blue Snowball microphone to communicate in game or on Discord. I have recently been getting an error with something along the lines of "SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (CMUSBDAC.SYS)". It has only been recently been doing this and ONLY when unplugging my microphone from the USB slot. I am aware of the thread containing downloading a driver called "ASIO4ALL" but this solution has not worked for me. Any help is appreciated.

Well, that answer is 3 years old, so it served its purpose.

Can you follow option one on the following link - here - and then do this step below: Small memory dumps - Have Windows Create a Small Memory Dump (Minidump) on BSOD - that creates a file in c windows/minidump after the next BSOD

copy that file to documents

upload the copy from documents to a file sharing web site, and share the link in your thread so we can help fix the problem

we know cause but dumps will show us other things such as what drivers are installed.

its possible updating BIOS or chipset driver could fix it. Dumps will show what you have (Or should)

Do I attempt to trigger another BSOD after I've done this?
