[SOLVED] Bluetooth dongle doesnt work anymore

I bought a tp-link bluetooth 4.0 dongle about 6 months ago, it worked fine until yesterday I noticed that windows did not detect that I had a bluetooth dongle bluged in. When I went to "Bluetooth & other devices" in the "other devices" tab it showed that the bluetooth dongle was detected but it didnt gave me an option to turn the bluetooth on or off.
Is there anyway to fix it or it has something to do with my pc?

Yes still doesnt work

Have you tried uninstalling the "other device" and let Windows reinstall the drivers?
Try going to "Control Panel > Device Manager > Bluetooth". Is your TP-Link dongle listed?

Its listed in the other devices tab but not in the device manager. Atleast i dont see it there

Do you see any yellow warning signs in Device Manager?
Being listed in the "other devices" tab does not necessarily mean it is still being detected, only that it was previously added as a Bluetooth device. It would still be listed even if the dongle has stopped working, for whatever reason.
