Question Bluetooth earbuds latancy

Hi, I just got a Bluetooth 5.0 USB dongle/adapter from amazon.
I connected my Samsung earbuds pro, and played a game like valorants and leage.
but I get this weird latency, like half a second or a second. it is about 1 ft away from the USB.
and no other Bluetooth is connected. youtube vids are working fine just the game does this.
do you guys know how to fix it?

Do your Dongle and Buds support aptX LL " 34ms" otherwise latency for other Codecs can be high for gaming.

It is really just how Bluetooth works. There is latency with the transmission.

The article that @delaro posted has some good tips but there will almost always be lag with gaming no matter how much you tweak it or set back your delay.
