bluetooth headset connects but appears disconnected on sound device

since the quality improvement update on windows 10, my bluetooth headset doesn't appear connected on sound devices.

Can you please try going to Start > Settings > Privacy, going to the Microphone and Radios categories (individually), and enabling access?

both radio and microphone is enabled but still no result. I tried going into hardware and sound > devices and printers then going to the headset and enabling all the services but still no change. Sometimes the headset says something that sounds like "connection failed". Maybe that helps to find the solution?

Can you please check and confirm if the Bluetooth driver is up-to-date? If not, updating it to the latest version may help.

Also, if the driver is already updated, and the update occurred recently, rolling the driver back to its earlier version might do the trick.

Try deleting your headset from linked devices in Bluetooth tab, then add it back (pair it) insuring that mic is on for testing.

I tried. Almost ended up not being able to pair it again. Also tried installing older versions of bluetooth but still nothing.

Yes but still no changes. But after a few seconds from restarting the headset correctly connected but when i tried connecting the headset again it didn't work.
