Question Bluetooth problems with Asus PRIME X670E-PRO WIFI ?

Hi,

I got me the above but Bluetooth (running Windows 11) with my OnePlus 8 phone is not working.

In order for the two devices to find each other / exchange files they have to be within 50cm of one another. This is really impractical given that the m/Board is sitting in a full tower Antec case.

Are there ways I can adjust this.

PS: I am not using the WiFi Antenna that came with the board. Would this antenna boost Bluetooth.

I performed placed an HP laptop around the same position and maybe half a meter further away from the PRIME board. I took a second laptop and clicked the Add a device option. The laptop was discovered, the Asus PRIME board wasn't.

When I moved the second laptop to the within 50cm the PC was listed after about 60seconds.

Use external antennas, that's what they are for, to boost range.When inside the metal housing it acts as Faraday's cage which restricts radio signal.
