Bluetooth transmitter to receiver

Hey guys!
So I have an MP3 player and would like to play the music into my earphones wirelessly (probably through bluetooth). Neither the MP3 player nor the earphones have bluetooth capabilities, so I thought about buying a bluetooth transmitter, as well a a bluetooth receiver.

If I connected the transmitter to the MP3 Player, and the receiver to the earphones, would that work? I am not sure how I would be able to pair the transmitter and receiver together.

On a side note, I also had this idea, thinking that it might work for the guitar, like a wireless guitar bug. (Guitar -> Transmitter, Computer/Amp -> Receiver). Thoughts?

Sorry - didn't see. Looks promising. Let me know if they work. They should from what I've seen.
