I have an HP proliant dl180se g6 server, when I boot I get "601 BMC Not Responding" the server immidiatelly shuts down after.
I have another (dead) motherboard just like the one that shows me the error.
Would it be possible to replace the chip responsible for this error? Which chip would I go on replacing ?(maybe bios?).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

BMC=baseboard management controller isn't bios. It's hardware and firmware that essentially acts as a scaled down version of ilo. It monitors the basic health of the system and can store errors.

No changing the chip, you can however attempt to update the firmware on the system board, (motherboard)

I have updated my firmware and everything, I even contacted HP support, they said I have a corrupted BMC.
With recovery BMC the board boots just fine, but CPU won't stay at 100% it jumps up and down quite a lot, I have tried different CPUs and OS's so I know the board is the issue, I am assuming BMC.
Without recovery BMC it says "627 invalid chassis Id" "press f1 to continue" and then immidiatelly shuts down.
