BO4 Frame Drops

so mid match my game will go from 180+ fps down to 5 FPS for a solid 5 minutes and go back to normal i have tried playing around with GFX settings and it still dose it. no one else i know is having this issue and i cant seem to find anything online about it

my setup:
I7 6700K @4.7
16GB ddr4 3200 ram
GTX 1080
game is on a ssd
and everything is liquid cooled

Have you check how your temps are? Does this happen only when you play this game? Gotta figure out first if its the game or your hardware. Could be that your CPU or GPU aren't being cooled properly. Show temps with no load and with load. Maybe a Fan cooling your radiator went out or one of you GPU's fan.

temps flux between 60-75 while playing and 20-30 idle, it only happens on BO4. in task maneger it says BO4 is using 100% of my GPU about 3GBs of ram and about 30-40% of my CPU

Then its probably the game or your GPU Driver. Install new Drivers if any are available. Reinstall game. Try running the game in lower settings. See if it still happens then. If it does and temps are still okay. then you might need to reinstall your graphics drivers. Have you tinker with your graphic card or cpu settings recently? Such as Overclocked them?

You are at least the second person in a day to report framerate issues with Black Ops. Thinking game or driver issue as well.

i have swapped it from HDD to SSD and lowered GFX settings no near minimal and still happens but it only happens every so often like once ever hour or 2 and its always in a game. i haven't seen anyone with the same FPS problems i am having where its only dropping mid game for short amount of time then back to normal. i have installed the latest drivers and in task manager while in game the GPU is about 70% but in lobby or start screen its 100%.

p.s. thanks for the help guys this is so frustrating as it only happens once in game every hour or so lol
