Hi, some time ago, my HP Omen 15-5020ca shut off from low battery life but I had to leave home and didn’t charge it over the weekend. The following Monday, the startup was taking too long and I get a black screen saying:

“Boot Device Not Found
Please install an operating system on your hard disk.
Hard Disk (3F0)
F2 System Diagnostics

I got some help on the HP website for a little while telling me to reinstall Win10 through USB. I set it all up and go to custom install and realize I can’t install due to it telling me I have “Disk 0 unallocated space 0.0 MB no other partitions“ even though I have a TB of space.

I have two other laptops now with the same issue, an Asus and the other a HP Pavilion g6.

Upon reading that I should clean the disk through diskpart and entering list disk, I am met with this: (disk 0 with 0b of free space and a size of 0b)

And after entering detail disk:

On all 3 of the laptops, there is only blank space where it asks me to install on a hard drive. I can’t chose my hard drive when attempting to clean install Win10.

I don’t know where to go from here. Does this mean my hard drives are fried somehow?

Hi, Jojesa. I know it’s been a long time (about a month). I tried everything, but eventually had to get a new hardrive.

I just want to thank you for your help. I never get good assistance from forums.

Sorry that you weren't assist further.
I do hope that the new hard drive fixes your issue.
