[SOLVED] boot from pcie sata

Hello all
I have a pretty old board the sata ports have stopped working so I got a pcie sata card but I can't boot from it, the board is an a8n-sli asus

I used a card like that for a while ... I had to hit F4 to get to the setup screen for the card. In BIOS I had to set the primary boot drive to add-in card or something like that. Sorry, been a while.
