Boot hangs on Gigabyte Logo until I press F12

I recently installed a fresh install of windows 10 so that I could boot using UEFI. However now I'm having problems.

Windows is not auto-booting from BIOS. It hangs on the motherboard logo screen. I have to hit F12 (boot menu screen) and it boots properly without even having the boot window pop up.
Only my windows SSD is plugged in, windows 10 installed for UEFI boot mode, BIOS settings look correct to me.
I've tried resetting everything including CMOS. This is a clean install of windows 10.

If this helps, my motherboard is displaying A2 (which the manual says means "Detect and install all currently connected IDE devices). After hitting F12 it displays A0 ("IDE initialization is started") and boots.

My motherboard is a gigabyte z77x-up5 th, and I have windows 10 pro, installed from a USB thumb drive created from the windows media creation tool. I've double checked that the hard drive is GPT, and I've tried booting from both the "Windows Boot Manager" and the "UEFI: Kingston ....." options listed in my BIOS. Both work after pressing F12. The computer runs perfectly once booted.

I just want it to boot up automatically to windows without having to hit F12 every time. Once in a while F12 doesn't work, and I need to power on and off the computer and it works.

UPDATE: I think its actually pressing any key that makes it boot, not just F12.

Any help would be great!
