Question Boot into legacy and not UEFI.

Sorry if this is the wrong forum!

After removing Windows 10 and installing Chromium OS onto my HP Notebook laptop, I can't get it to automatically boot into the OS. I have to manually hit F9 and select my hard drive with Chromium on it for it to boot into it. I have secure boot off, and legacy boot on. It may seem like it will automatically boot into my hard drive but instead it boots into "Image 1" and I get a black screen with nothing. Help would be appreciated, cheers!

First, change Platform Key to Custom. Is the hdd partitioned GPT or MBR? Make sure there are no USBs plugged in when you boot your laptop.

I'm unable to change the Platform key, it's grayed out. It's most likely MBR.

Try setting your BIOS to AHCI?

How would one do that? I'm running Chromium OS with 2016 bios on an HP Notebook.

My bad you have already done so. I'm left with the belief since your laptop is not a Chromebook, you may have to go through the boot menu to boot.
