To contextualise.. I’ve had my rig for about 2 years now, it was previously an Alienware machine which I’ve slowly replaced entirely.
About 2 months ago I moved from DDR3 to 4, so got myself a new MOBO, CPU & RAM. No issues at all until last week where it randomly didn’t post after powering - fans and lights were on but no display.
I restarted and it worked fine. Fast forward to today, it now fails to boot every 2nd time it’s powered on. When it fails, the CPU debug light shows on the board but if I hard shutdown and restart, it boots normally. Thinking this might be an issue with PSU or CMOS battery potentially? I’ve tried booting without GPU, 1 RAM module and had no luck. Any help would be appreciated 👍
