Hi guys,

I'm having an issue with my GA-A320M-S2H V2 (rev. 1.1, F51c). Installed a new NVMe at the weekend from an old, working SSD Macrium image. If I want to boot Windows from the nvme (Windows Boot Manager) select in the bios, then nothing else can be selected. As soon as I select my optical drive as 1st (preferred), the nvme as 2nd, I'm unable to boot - even if there is no media in the optical drive

Just booting from the NVMe is fine as is booting only from the optical drive but the two can't be used together? I didn't have this issue when I was booting with optical and SSD/HD so I'm thinking it must be a firmware/hardware issue?

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

It could be a small issue fixed in a BIOS update. The issue may be going unnoticed because fewer PC's still use a DVD drive.
Yeah, that's what I'm hoping... seems odd that they both work but independently. What's annoying is that optical/SSD booting was fine until the introduction of the NVMe.

Worst things happen as sea but it's still annoying...

Nope, isn't that...

I tried a couple of free ports, all known working.

Got to be firmware right?
