Hey you all!

I just bought an used i5 3570k

Here is my 3rd gen build:

Mobo Asrock h61m-vg3
i5 3570k processor (i had a celeron g460)
4gb ram Kingston
Evga gtx 750 ti 2gb
Evga psu 500w 80+ (model: 100-W1-0500-KR)

I've bought and installed this cpu, and after doing so, my computer won't start anymore.

What does my computer do?
>I press the button
>Cpu cooler and leds start
>My monitor wont display anything
>After 10-11 seconds pc stops
>Then, in 5 seconds it starts again
>Loop

Ok here's all I tried so far:

Updating mobo bios from 1.20 version to 1.90 version
Removing battery for 1 min
Clearing cmos by changing position of the jumper
Removing all components (including hdd, graphic card, dvd reader, mouse, keyboard, speakers, ethernet and monitor)
Disconnecting and reconnecting everything.

The celeron stills working tho.
Is it a problem with my motherboard or psu? (i bought this psu 2 months ago and I had no problems using my graphic card). Also my mobo doesn't support the beep speaker so I can't troubleshoot anything.

I don't know what to do, do I make a refund or what?
Thanks!

Edit: also I don't think there's a problem with compatibility.

sorry for my english.

Solution
Well, thanks for the help...
My solution was refunding it and buying a non-k version.
I don't know if the "k" version was fried or was unsupported by my mobo.

Best regards!

I already tried to put the celeron back and it worked...
Thanks!

The ram is not the problem if you run to fast memory the mottherboard will automatically slow it down to the allowed/recommended speed

edit: what does it mean? what's DRAM???

This is dead simple, the board works with a supported CPU, it does not work with a different supported CPU.

The other CPU is FUBAR. It's not RAM or power or anything else.

No primitive dance with zombie frogs is going to bring it back to life. It's time to move on.
