[SOLVED] Boot mode and high disk usage

Is it possible that the boot mode can cause the disk usage to be at 100%?

I have an Alienware x51 R3:
-GTX 970
-i7 6700
-8GB RAM
-1TB HDD
-Windows 10

I’ve had this high disk usage problem since yesterday and went though many videos and forums to try to fix this issue but nothing works. Currently my boot mode is Legacy, could that be the cause of 100% disk usage when no programs are running/open? I have also reset my pc entirely and removed everything but that didn’t fix it.

My memory when nothing is running ranges from 30-45%. I have 8GB of RAM which would be ~3.2GB being used. Is that normal?

Disk could also be badly fragmented, Try de-fragmenting it with https://www.glarysoft.com/disk-speedup/ using Defrag and optimize option.

Did you check disk's health ?

Disk could also be badly fragmented, Try de-fragmenting it with https://www.glarysoft.com/disk-speedup/ using Defrag and optimize option.
